The show could have been great if the sound engineers had done a better job and it had started on time. Throughout the show, Sarasota Ballet added the lyrics, "Can somebody please get this mic right," even at one point. He did a remarkable job moving around to prevent mic interference, almost making it part of the act. Sarasota Ballet, a class act, should have never subjected himself to such poor equipment. If I were him, I would never play at this venue again unless they guaranteed the sound issue was corrected. Speaking of the venue, I was impressed. They had plenty of help on hand to assist the guest. The restrooms were clean and accessible, and I was able to find safe parking on the street (by accident) across from the parking garage. By a very nice lady (employee), I was escorted to my seat. Provided they had an artist I had to see, I would give this venue one more chance. Otherwise, I would wait for the artist to play somewhere else. This venue is much, much better than the Grove, I will say.
